New Year’s Eve At USS Hornet Museum

Ring in a new year aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hornet. Enjoy live music, party favors, a silent auction, cash bars and food concessions, midnight countdown, and a spectacular view of the Bay Area skyline.

The ultimate New Year’s Eve Party will be held on the decks of the historic ship from 8:00pm to 1:00am on Wednesday, December 31.

This year’s featured band is 3 O’Clock Jump. The 17-person band is made up of some of the best swing and jazz musicians from the Bay Area. They not only specialize in the classic Big Bands songs that America danced to during WWII but have a large and eclectic repertoire.

A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the party with proceeds benefiting the educational programs of the USS Hornet Museum. Auction items include a selection of hotel packages, gift certificates to Bay Area restaurants, wines, sporting event tickets, museum experiences, and gift baskets.

From swing to rock, the USS Hornet is the Bay Area’s best place to dance with three large dance floors on the enclosed, heated hangar deck. Tickets are $45 to $85 per person and include free parking. An optional buffet dinner is available for purchase. -- www.uss-hornet.org
