The Gardens on El Paseo kicks off the 11th season of its Wine & Music Concert Series on Saturday, January 31st - all proceeds that evening going to DesertArc, (formerly The Foundation for the Retarded of the Desert).
The popular series, hosted by KJJZ'S Jim Fitzgerald and running every Saturday through April 18th, presents the best in contemporary jazz, live on the Gardens' center lawn.
A wine and cheese reception begins at 5:15pm, with the concert getting underway at 6pm. A $10 donation affords attendees light refreshments and two glasses of wine. Donation tickets may be obtained at the center lawn area during the evening of each concert.
DesertArc is sponsoring the Palm Springs Dream Home Raffle, which in April will raffle off a home worth more than a million dollars in Griffin Ranch. The next bonus raffle is set for Saturday, February 7th at Griffin Ranch Clubhouse. Raffle tickets are $150. -- palmspringsdreamhomeraffle.com
