Celebrate Mother’s Day With Grand Theatre

Blackpool’s beautiful Grand Theatre has an exciting and eclectic mix of spectacular shows for 2009 that will make the perfect gift for mothers this Mothering Sunday (22nd March)

Show tickets are available for opera, ballet, plays, comedies, musicals, contemporary drama and dance, fun children’s shows and of course pantomime! There’s something for everyone… and the perfect show for your mum (or your grandmother).

And what better present this Mother’s Day than tickets for a magnificent musical?

Choose from the ultimate British rock ‘n’ roll show Dreamboats and Petticoats starring X Factor’s Scott Bruton and Emmerdale’s Ben Freeman; an exciting new stage production of the legendary Singin’ in the Rain starring West End and Broadway sensation Tim Flavin; the deliciously dark Cabaret starring Wayne Sleep and I’d Do Anything’s Samantha Barks; Willy Russell’s unforgettable Blood Brothers starring Maureen Nolan as Mrs Johnstone; Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s monumental EVITA with an all star cast or the return of BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do heartthrob Craig Chalmers back to raise temperatures in the sparkling family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Or how about Victoria Wood’s delightful comedy Dinnerladies with original cast members Andrew Dunn as Tony and Shobna Gulati as Anita, the hilarious human comedy Sign of the Times starring the Fylde’s own Stephen Tompkinson (Wild at Heart, Drop the Dead Donkey, Ballykissangel) or three weeks of song and laughter to warm the heart with the legendary Joe Longthorne! -- www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk
