
He's an outdoor survival type and she's a groovy punk chick! A brand new fun packed production of the classic folk tale 'Hansel & Gretel', presented by Theatre Royal Wakefield, written by Mick Martin, directed by Jude Wright.

A brother and sister are left to fend for themselves far away from home. They have to use their wit and wiles to survive in the deep dark wood, when they meet a friendly old lady who lives in a tasty and cosy gingerbread house... but all is not as it seems!!
Will they escape the dangerous clutches of the scary witch? Will they triumph to live happily ever after? Excitement, adventure, brilliant music and songs with a big dollop of fun for all the family! Suitable for all ages.
Fun packed Hansel & Gretel pre-show workshops
To accompany our exciting new production of Hansel and Gretel we have extra special family friendly workshops on Thursday 16 April at 11am and Sunday 19 April at 11.30am.
Jude Wright, Director of Hansel and Gretel and Head of Creative Engagement at Theatre Royal Wakefi eld is organising the workshops so they will be creative and fun. Whatever you create at the workshops will become part of the Hansel and Gretel show!!
These workshops are for all ages, they will be both educational and fun. Refreshments will be provided. Book now to avoid disappointment!
