
Former star singers of the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company return to Blackpool’s Grand Theatre with another entertaining journey through the wonderful works of Gilbert and Sullivan in A Feast of Gilbert and Sullivan 2 on Saturday 28th March at 7.30pm.
Sparkling soloists Marilyn Hill Smith (Soprano), Nicholas Sales (Tenor), Pauline Birchall (Mezzo), Jeremy Peaker (Baritone) and John Ayldon (Bass) join The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Anthony Kraus.
Presented in a traditional style, with short dialogue scenes and witty anecdotes of their times spent in the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, with exciting extracts from all the Gilbert and Sullivan operas including The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers, HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, Patience and Ruddigore.
