It's Magic At McCallum Theatre

The City of Indian Wells presents "It's Magic!" on Sunday, March 29, at 3:00 pm at McCallum Theatre. From grand illusions to sleight of hand, "It's Magic!" is a magical and entertaining afternoon for the entire family.

"It's Magic!" features six stars of magic from around the world, including Las Vegas and Hollywood's famous Magic Castle. Ray Pierce is a major force in magic. His largest illusion was making a school bus and its 12 passengers vanish and reappear on the ARCO float during the Rose Parade. Rudy Coby has performed spectacular illusions around the world and millions of people have seen him both live and on television, including his Fox specials, "Rudy Coby: Coolest Magician on Planet Earth."

Chase Curtis won The Gold Cups from the International Brotherhood of Magicians at age 16, the youngest ever to win this coveted prize. He has performed his renowned close-up act around the world in major performing arts centers. Ardan James is famed for his award-winning act of comic physical illusions. He is also a noted international lecturer on mime and magic and has won more than ten national awards.

Amos Levkovitch, originally from Israel, was named "Stage Magician of the Year" for two consecutive years from The Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood. His seamless sleight of hand involves doves that appear, disappear, and reappear. Jeff Civillico has developed his own brand of entertainment that he calls "Kinetic Comedy", an exuberant performance style rooted in the Vaudevillian tradition. A headliner on Disney Cruise Line, he is an in-demand entertainer for major corporate events.
