Southbank Centre, London will perform ‘Protein: Dear Body’ on Tuesday 28 April 2009 and Wednesday 29 April 2009.
High-energy physical theatre, comedy, and satirical comment on human nature collide in the latest slice of thought-provoking dance theatre. This work is commissioned by Southbank Centre and presented by Luca Silvestrini's award-winning company Protein.
A witty satire on our growing fixation with body care and image, Dear Body employs wit, wisdom and a cast of local performers alongside professional dancers to analyse the most private relationship of all: the one we have with ourselves.
Please note that this performance features nudity. It is recommended for ages 16 and over.
