On a rocky seashore on the coast of Cornwall, England, the pirates of Penzance are holding a party to celebrate their apprentice Frederic’s promotion to the status of full-blown pirate, for today is his 21st birthday.
But being born on the extra day of leap year does have its difficulties. A lively staging featuring wonderful G&S music, swashbuckling comedy, satire and parody, this fully entertaining production has all of the timeless characters we all know and love.
