Five:15 has always offered a wide range of styles, themes and approaches to opera. This year, for the first time, it will have more of an international flavour. Now the play is proudly presented by Scottish Opera, UK.
'The acceptable face of modern opera - short, popular, entertaining, experimental.' - Financial Times

Scottish Opera's ongoing commitment to commissioning new work delivers a refreshingly different take on a traditional art form. Building on two years of critically acclaimed collaborations, we are again teaming up with some of the leading lights in Scotland's vibrant creative industries to produce brand-new opera for today's audiences.
We are also taking two exciting steps this year, opening as part of the Word festival, in a new partnership with Aberdeen University, and moving to a different venue in Edinburgh - the Traverse Theatre.
