The local chapter of the internationally recognized Fashion Group International (FGI) will present the Ready-To-Wear Collections TREND OVERVIEW FOR FALL/WINTER 2009/2010 on Wednesday, May 27 at a special evening event from 6 to 8 pm, at the Villa Portofino Clubhouse.
If New York, London, Milan and Paris were not on your itinerary when the leading designers were burning up the global runways with fresh new ideas, don't despair.
Fashion Group International had a ringside seat and you'll see it all----the inflated shoulders, the languorous draping, the flourishing capes, the silken leathers, the lavish in-your-face furs, the sky-high hair---you've just got to see what's hot and what's not and what a show!
Open to FGI members and the public, the DVD presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and the annual Fashion Group International Foundation scholarship awards to local students seeking a career in the fashion industry.
