Composed by distinguished composer Peng Xiu Wen, The Surging of Turbulent Clouds is an adaptation of contemporary Beijing Opera’s Mount Dujuan. See Peng’s clever use of instrumentation bring the best out of the orchestra. The lively Red Flower Blossoms depicts farmers who transformed a barren ravine into a vibrant village of bountiful harvests through hard work and perseverance.

Also in the line-up are Nie Er’s Sparkling Lake in Spring and The Beautiful Zhuang Embroidery. This is Chinese Classic melodies at their best. -- www.sco.com.sg
