Farmer Jason is the brainchild of Alt-Country pioneer Jason Ringenberg, the frontman for Jason and the Scorchers.
Ringenberg created Farmer Jason in 2003, as a character for his young daughters which to his delight and surprise, has organically blossomed into the centre of his career now - his It's A Farmer Jason PBS video has just earned an Emmy Award for Best Children's Program!
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the experience including singing along, dancing, and discussing farm life and ecology.
