Dallas Museum Of Art will run an exhibition titled 'A Dream Come True: The Dallas Arts District' from September 25, 2009 to January 31, 2010.
Images from the DMA Archives will be displayed in the Concourse to illustrate milestones in the history of our Museum from 1979, the year of the Bond Election, to the present.
A timeline will be incorporated to further detail the development of the Arts District, and to incorporate highlights from our partners' histories. One or more of the drawings we own from the Barnes studio will be included, as well as reproduced newspaper headlines, quotes, and images illustrating construction during the growth of the District.
