The Capitol Steps originated in 1981 when senate staffers were planning entertainment for a Christmas party. They wanted to stage a nativity play, but in the whole Congress they couldn't find three wise men or a virgin! So, they decided to satirize the very people that employed them.

Since then they have recorded 28 albums and toured the nation. Wait until you hear about their current take on President Barack Obama and Rod Blagojevich. No matter who's in the headlines, Capitol Steps is an equal opportunity offender.
