Victorian Opera, Australia together with Chorus of Victorian Opera and Orchestra of the Academy will play 'Seven Last Words from The Cross' on Friday 16 October, at 9pm, at the St Patrick's Cathedral, East Melbourne.
The Seven Last Words From the Cross is Scottish composer James MacMillan's masteriece, his beautiful lament powerfully evoking the inexorable sense of drama of the seven words.
This very special concert meditates on Christ's seven last words on the cross. Presented by Melbourne International Arts Festival, Australian National Academy of Music and Victorian Opera.
