The Figaro story continues in what is often considered Mozart's most perfect opera. After his marriage to Rosina, now the Countess Almaviva, the Count's palace is filled with a tangled web of love affairs. The pageboy Cherubino courts the Countess while the Count pursues the maidservant Susanna who is betrothed to the wily Figaro.

With a nearly flawless blend of music and theatricality, The Marriage of Figaro is conducted by Patrick Fournillier and set in a gorgeous production originally conceived by Goran Jarvefelt and directed by Harry Silverstein. -- www.dc-opera.org
