Colorado Opera Supports Arts

Central City Opera, Colorado invites you to support arts in the schools with education and community programs fundraiser: Ensemble Showcase taking place on September 29th, at 7:30 p.m. This is an evening of scintillating scenes, dueling divas and enchanting ensembles coming to Concert Hall at the, Denver School of the Arts, 7111 Montview Blvd.

Join us for an evening of memorable scenes, duets, and ensembles from opera, operetta, and musical theatre. Members of the Central City Opera Ensemble performing this evening will be Amy Andersson, Sarah Barber, Micaiella Dominguez-Robinson, Teresa Davis, Erin Hackel, Aaron Pearson, Marcia Ragonetti, Leslie Remmert-Soich, Adam Sattley, Deborah Schmit-Lobis, Deven Shaff, Judeth Shay Burns, Stephen Taylor, and Bradley Thompson.

Of special note, the artists of the Ensemble are donating their services for the evening in order to raise funds for Central City Opera's education and community programs which serve up to 60,000 Colorado students, seniors and families each year. Schools have suffered funding cutbacks which often have a negative impact on arts curriculum and assembly programs.

Central City Opera never refuses a request for a school program, no matter the ability of the school to pay. Grants and other fundraising efforts such as this concert cover the costs for free or reduced-fee assemblies and workshops. -- www.centralcityopera.org
