Virtual Console - new releases!

Today we've added a selection of new classic games to the Wii Shop Channel, which you can download and play directly on your Wii using the built-in Virtual Console.

Virtual Console allows you to play games from the NES, SNES, SEGA Mega Drive and TurboGrafx (PC Engine) and currently includes such classics as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog. New Virtual Console games are added to the Wii Shop Channel every Friday.

This week's new releases are:

SEGA Mega Drive: (800 Wii Points)
Sword of Vermilion (1 player)
Bio Hazard Battle (1-2 players)
Streets of Rage (1-2 players)

TurboGrafx: (600 Wii Points)
Chew-Man-Fu (1-2 players)

Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets. Certain games require the use of a Wii Classic Controller or Nintendo GameCube Controller- Nintendo.
