Will Smith slaps reporter at 'Men in Black 3' premiere [VIDEO]

One reporter in Moscow learned the hard way -- whatever you do, do not try to kiss Will Smith on the mouth.

Smith, the star of the newly released "Men in Black 3" movie, found himself in a mini altercation with a reporter Friday. The incident occurred at the movie's premiere Moscow.

As Smith walked down press row, a male reporter in a white suit approached Smith after asking him some questions. The reporter embraced Smith and then attempted to kiss the actor on each cheek. Smith seemed to be fine with the gesture but abruptly changed his tune when the man apparently tried to kiss Smith on the mouth.

In the video of the incident, which can be viewed below, Smith can be seen pushing the reporter back and slapping him with the back of his left hand. He angrily says to the reporter, "Come on man. What the hell is your problem?" before continuing down the walkway.

The reporter seemed to be embarrassed by the event, standing with a half-smile, appearing to be stunned by the turn of events.

Smith spoke with reporters moments later and explained what happened.

"He tried to kiss me on my mouth," Smith said with a smile. "He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him. Sorry, I said that on camera. It's all good."

According to omg!, the reporter is of Ukrainian descent and is known for kissing his interview subjects upon the conclusion of the questioning. People Magazine reports that Smith agreed to give the man a hug but was not on board with any mouth action.

The dust-up didn't ruin the day for Smith, who continued answering the media's questions, signing autographs and posing for pictures. But it is unknown how the reporter felt following the accident. He has yet to explain his side of the story.

"Men in Black 3" opens in the United States on May 25. In the film, Smith plays the familiar role of Agent J. In the latest installment, Smith travels back in time and works with a young Agent K, played by Josh Brolin. Agent K's role has typically been played by Tommy Lee Jones, and the actor will still appear in the new film.

Smith has been rumored to be going through some strife in his personal life, as rumors have swirled that he is headed for a divorce with his wife of 15 years, Jada Pinkett Smith. Both have denied the rumors and claim that their marriage is not in trouble.
