At VoiceCon Spring 2007 Extreme Networks Demonstrates Edge Technologies

Extreme Networks' customizable Universal Port framework tames chaos at the edge and helps reduce the operational cost of managing a converged network

Extreme Networks, Inc., today announced that the Company will showcase key capabilities for the management and deployment of converged networks. These technologies, which are on display at VoiceCon Spring 2007, March 5-8 in Orlando, Fla., booth no. 619, signify how Extreme Networks' Universal Port framework addresses the toughest IP telephony challenges.

Extreme Networks® Universal Port framework, software available with the Company's ExtremeXOS modular operating system and award-winning Summit® and BlackDiamond® convergence-ready Ethernet switches, helps to tame the chaos at the edge of the network. The panel will focus on specific capabilities network equipment should include in order to support voice traffic with adequate Quality of Service (QoS) - Extreme Networks.
