According to Wikipedia, Chili's has more than 1,400 casual dining restaurants, most in the United States or Canada. Founded by Larry Lavine in 1975, the southwestern-themed chain is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It serves American and Tex-Mex food.

Chili's has an extensive vegetarian menu, including a Black Bean Burger, and several of the menu items can be made without meat. For example, it is possible to order the Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich without bacon and chicken. The vegetarian menu also notes clearly which dishes may include dairy, eggs and honey.

"On your next visit to Chili's, please speak with a manager about your dietary needs to ensure that your meal is carefully prepared with your needs in mind," reads the web page. "We hope that you are able to choose a meal to your liking and look forward to serving you soon. Should you have any additional concerns or inquiries regarding our menu items, please do not hesitate to call 1-800-983-4637."

Chili's also has menus online for people with egg allergies, fish allergies, milk allergies, peanut allergies, shellfish allergies, soy allergies, tree nut allergies and gluten allergies. Due to the fact that the kitchen is a shared space, Chili's does not guarantee that any of its food is completely free of allergens.
