Einstein Bros. Bagels recently announced that it will give all active, inactive and retired military personnel a free bagel with shmear on Veterans Day.

The offer includes both Classic and Signature bagels with any topping. There is an extra charge for Gourmet or Power Protein bagels. There is a limit of one per guest.

According to Einstein Bros., all you have to do is tell the cashier you're a veteran.

Nutritional profiles of the bagels vary, according to Einstein Bros.

Classic Bagels: The Plain Bagel has 260 calories, 10 of which are from fat, 2 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein. The 100% Whole Wheat with Honey Bagel has 260 calories, 25 of which are from fat, 7 grams of fiber and12 grams of protein. The Everything Bagel has 269 calories, 17 of which are from fat, 2 grams of fiber. The Pumpernickel Bagel has 246 calories, 11 of which are from fat, and 3 grams of fiber.

Signature Bagels: The Asiago Cheese Bagel contains 310 calories, 50 of which are from fat, 2 grams of fiber and 14 grams of protein. The Blueberry Bagel contains 300 calories, 10 of which are from fat, 3 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. The Chocolate Chip Bagel contains 290 calories, 25 of which are from fat, 3 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein. The Cinnamon Raisin Bagel contains 290 calories, 10 of which are from fat, 3 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. The Cinnamon Sugar Bagel has 290 calories, 20 of which are from fat, 2 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein. The Cranberry Bagel has 270 calories, 10 of which are from fat, 2 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein.
