You select a preferred location. then enter your name, e-mail address, birthday, favorite Texas Roadhouse location and home zip code. After that, you click to enter, and Texas Roadhouse e-mails you a coupon for a free appetizer with purchase of an adult entree.
Available appetizers are Cactus Blossoms, Fried Pickles, Tater Skins, Cheese Fries or Rattlesnake Bites.
The Cactus Blossom is a hand-breaded, deep-fried onion served with Cajun Horseradish sauce. It's similar to Outback Steakhouse's Bloomin' Onion.
Fried Pickles are hand-battered, deep-fried pickle chips served with your choice of Ranch sauce or Cajun Horseradish sauce.
Tater Skins are baked potato skins topped with bacon, cheddar cheese and sour cream.
Cheese fries are steak fries served with bacon and melted cheddar cheese.
Rattlesnake bites are bite-size, hand-battered, lightly fried diced jalapeños with jack cheese. They are served with Cajun Horseradish sauce.
Like all Texas Roadhouse food, including the croutons and bacon bits, the appetizers are made from scratch.

Each Texas Roadhouse restaurant employes a butcher and a baker. The butchers hand cut each steak served, working in 34-degree coolers and slicing an average of $1 million of meat a year per store. Bakers are responsible for baking the yeast rolls from scratch every day. The bread is baked fresh every five minutes and served with homemade cinnamon butter.
