Daniyar Usenov has denied that he paid to become Kyrgyzstan's first deputy prime minister, RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service reported.
Speaking in parliament today, Usenov also threatened to sue former Prime Minister Feliks Kulov for making such accusations.
Kulov said on February 28 that Usenov had admitted to him that he paid $300,000 for his post.
Kulov joined the opposition last month after parliament twice rejected his candidacy for prime minister.
