TSX Group Announces US Campaign

CEO Richard Nesbitt today launched TSX Group's US campaign for 2007. Speaking to reporters during a media briefing at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada's (PDAC) International Convention, Mr. Nesbitt said, "the purpose of this campaign is to raise our visibility, raise U.S. awareness of our strengths, and attract new U.S. listings, trading activity and data customers to our exchanges."

The 10-city tour will kick off in New York City on April 11. The first roadshow takes place in Denver and Reno in May. The second roadshow will be in Houston and Dallas in June and the campaign will continue through other cities by this fall.

Speaking to a mining audience at PDAC, Mr. Nesbitt pointed out that TSX Group is a world leading market for resource equities and small cap public companies. "More than 80% of the total number of mining equity financing deals in the world were completed by TSX Group issuers in 2006, and almost 60% of global mining companies are currently listed on a TSX Group exchange. TSX Group is also home to 47% of the world's public oil and gas companies, and is the listing destination for many small cap companies in all industry sectors."

TSX Group is pleased to be joined by the 2007 US Campaign Sponsors, a consortium of investment banks and professional service providers that are specialists in building cross border business. These sponsors include five Canadian investment banks, four Canadian law firms, one US law firm, and a Canadian investor relations and financial communications company.
