Dee Riddle tells the story about a meteorite that crashed through her house in Bloomington this week and caused quite a scare.

Dee and David Riddle of Bloomington, Illinois could be saying "show me the money" after a meteor crashed though their bedroom window and busted through their computer desk at about 9:30am Monday morning.

Dee said "I heard a loud crash and thought a mirror had broken".

The meteor is about the size of a deck of cards and weighs less than a pound. It is a heavy gray object that could be a combo of iron and nickel or heavy stainless steel.

The space junk is currently being studied by Geology Professors and Ilinois State University.

If the object is deemed a meteor, it will be named after the Riddles. They are already getting calls from collectors offering cash for the rock.
