Taliban Leader Caught Fleeing In Burqa

NATO says Afghan forces have captured a Taliban leader who was trying to flee a security operation by disguising himself in a woman's all-encompassing burqa.

The man has been identified as Mullah Mahmud. He was described as an expert bomb maker.

His capture on March 6 in Kandahar Province came as NATO launched a major offensive in the neighboring province of Helmand against Taliban militants and drug traffickers.
