Air And Space Museum Presents Imagining Flight's Future

Representatives from space organizations and local industry, hands on activities and demonstrations take place as the San Diego Air & Space Museum celebrates Space Day 2007. This event has grown yearly and we hope you'll join us to make this year the biggest yet!

Touch a meteorite, drive a Mars Rover, build a paper rocket, design your own space patch, look through a telescope, and launch a bottle rocket, color, and giveaways! Yes, this is a jam-packed day with something for everyone.

Running concurrently is the 5th annual "Imagine the Future of Flight" Exhibition. Design and build your own aerospace vehicle using creative materials, without using a kit. Bring your creation to the Museum's main entrance for registration on Wednesday, May 9th between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. All entries will be on display in the Museum before results are announced at 2:00 p.m. on May 12th.
