Colorado has so much to offer with its majestic Rocky Mountains and incredible outdoor lifestyle. Living in a land-locked state, many times people crave bodies of water. Shorelines are not an impossible dream for people living in Colorado.

Water lovers can enjoy about two dozen rivers and more than 2,000 lakes and reservoirs. You can include boating, fishing, jet skiing, kayaking and rafting to your list of favorite Colorado outdoor activities.

You do not need to drive to the mountains to enjoy water front living and activities. In southeast Aurora, many folks enjoy living near the Aurora Reservoir. The Aurora Reservoir has over 800 acres of water for fishing, swimming and non-motorized boating.
