Can you handle the heat? I moved from New York twenty years ago and that was the question then and it still is. I can tell you one thing, I could not and would not want to handle the cold and snow. Hottest months are June through September averaging in the 90’s and if you can handle that, you will be a happy camper all year long.

It’s an area where you can participate in plenty of outdoor activities from boating by either using the public marinas or your own private one to biking or jogging on the trail that extends from Clermont to Winter Garden. The National Training Center has attracted thousands of athletes to the area since it’s opening in 2001. Bike riders choose the area mainly for it’s rolling hills.

As a resident, you will about a 30 minute drive from Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World.
Closest beaches are Daytona and Cocoa Beach and on the Gulf coast which require a longer travel would be Clearwater and St Pete Beach.
