
Event Features the Bands Brother and Sister, The Chosen Few, Hockey Night, I Self Divine, Mike Mictlan of Doomtree, NOW, Skoal Kodiak, and Synclocylotron
On Saturday, March 24, 11 am-8 pm, the Walker Art Center and the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board present March of Madness: Bands on the Run!. Part parade, part progressive party, part roaming rock festival, March of Madness: Bands on the Run! is a citywide music scavenger hunt orchestrated by Michael Gaughan (Brother and Sister, NOW) and the Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC).
Be prepared to traverse the city high and low, investigate nooks and crannies, and experience a wide range of bands in unexpected, surreal settings during this all-day event. To start the adventure, purchase a ticket and meet at the Walker at 11 am to receive your first clue about the four secret band locations.
Tickets are $15 for ages 20 and under and $20 ($18 Walker members) for ages 21 and over. -- www.walkerart.org
