Virtual Console - new releases!

Today we've added a selection of new classic games to the Wii Shop Channel, which you can download and play directly on your Wii using the built-in Virtual Console

Virtual Console allows you to play games from the NES, SNES, SEGA Mega Drive and TurboGrafx (PC Engine) and currently includes such classics as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog. New Virtual Console games are added to the Wii Shop Channel every Friday.

This week's new releases are:

NES: (500 Wii Points)
Galaga (1-2 players)

SNES: (800 Wii Points)
Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts (1 player)

TurboGrafx: (600 Wii Points)
Double Dungeons (1-2 players)

Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets.
