Sulman Prizes 2007 Winners Announced

This year, the 86th year of Archibald, there were 640 entries for Archibald, 639 for the Wynne Prize and 433 for the Sulman Prize. The Archibald and Wynne prizes are judged by the Trustees of the Art Gallery of New South Wales. The Judge for the Sulman prize was Hossein Valamanesh.

The Archibald winner receives $35,000, the Wynne Prize winner for landscape painting or figure sculpture receives $15,000 and the Sulman Prize winner for subject/genre painting and/or mural work receives $10,000.

The works of the winners will be on view at Art Gallery of New South Wales through 13 May 2007 .
