Mavrix Fund Completes Rollover Of Mavrix Resource

Mavrix Fund Management Inc. today announced that it completed the rollover of the Mavrix Resource Fund 2005-II Limited Partnership into the Mavrix Multi Series Fund Ltd.-Explorer Series and the Mavrix Resource Fund 2005-II Limited Partnership into the Mavrix Multi Series Fund Ltd.-Explorer Series.

As at the rollover date, the net asset value of the Mavrix Resource Fund 2005-I LP was $13.2446 per unit representing an estimated total after tax return of 110% for an Ontario investor who is an individual taxed at the highest marginal rate based on the estimated after tax purchase cost of the LP. Each investor in the Mavrix Resource Fund 2005-I LP received 1.117688 shares of the Mavrix Multi Series Fund Ltd.-Explorer Series for each LP unit held on a tax-deferred basis.

As at the rollover date, the net asset value of the Mavrix Resource Fund 2005-II LP was $14.0226 per unit representing an estimated total after tax return of 122% for an Ontario investor who is an individual taxed at the highest marginal rate based on the estimated after tax purchase cost of the LP. Each investor in the Mavrix Resource Fund 2005-II LP received 1.183342 shares of the Mavrix Multi Series Fund Ltd.-Explorer Series for each LP unit held on a tax-deferred basis.
