A strong, undersea earthquake with a magnitude of at least 6.2 has shaken parts of northeast Indonesia.
Reuter news agency quotes the country's meteorological officials as saying no tsunami warning was issued, because of the quake's depth.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck shortly before midnight Tuesday north of Manado on the island of Sulawesi, at a depth of more than 210 kilometers.
There was no immediate report of injuries or damage after the quake.
