He retired in 2000 from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, where he taught piano, music theory and literature, music appreciation, and related arts classes. He also served as chairman of Music and Communication and the Arts.
The afternoon will feature Arthur as he performs pieces by Paderewski, Soler, Copland and Liszt. You'll learn a bit about the musician, the composers, and the music. His performance will be followed by casual conversation about himself and the instrument he plays, and all audience members are encouraged to ask questions. This program is intended for people of all musical experience levels. -- www.greenbaysymphony.org
