The Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial presents Street Flora: neighborhood window box exhibition and installation. The exhibition consists of painted window boxes produced by students at Annunciation and Meredith schools, two sites of Fleisher's Community Partnerships in the Arts program.
When the exhibit ends, the thirty participating students will give one of their artist-made window boxes to someone in the neighborhood and retain one for their own home. The intent is to make links to the South Philadelphia area and bring color and plants to the street.
