China have won two of the opening three boxing finals on the last day of competition in the ring.
Hu Qing was too good for Mongolia's Munkh Erdene Uranchimeg in the men's lightweight final.
The favourite, living up to his pre-fight billing, cruised through with a crunching 38-22 points victory.
Uranchimeg was under pressure from the first punch and trailed 12-6 after the first round and then 22-9 after the second. His blue singlet was drenched in sweat as he struggled to keep pace with Hu.
Genebert Basadre from the Philippines and Bekzod Khidirov of Uzbekistan got the bronze after losing in the semifinals on Monday 11 December. The first Chinese to take away a gold medal on Wednesday was Zou Shiming in the lightest category, the -48kg light fly.
