It will be another battle between Korea and China in fencing, this time in the women's team epée. The Koreans saw off the threat of Japan in their semifinal 45-33, while China powered through in the last three matches to beat Hong Kong, China 45-36.
Chinese coach Zhao Gang thinks his team will have to play much better against the Koreans "Overall, we were not very open in the match. We were a bit tight. It was not really our best form. It was only 70 percent of what we are capable of.
"Zhang Li was very clever in her bout. She was confident against her opponent Cheng Yuk Han Bjork. She was a major contributor to the team's win.
"If we didn't create that lead in the seventh bout, and kept going with the tight scores, it would have been a very uncomfortable match for us towards the end.
"We were then four points ahead, so everyone could calm down and be more confident of a win."Â
The Koreans know the Chinese will be a tough opponents. "They are strong especially with tall Lin Na in their team, they will be strong opponents,"Â said experienced campaigner Park Se Ra.
