Jehovah's Witnesses Child Custody Assistance

It is estimated that over 130 Jehovah's Witness children die each year due to the religion's application of religious doctrine to health care.

Website launched to Assist Child Custody Disputes within Jehovah's Witnesses

90% of 1,000 Custody Cases fought Each Year are Lost Due to Manipulation of Legal System

A new organization has been launched to assist parents in custody disputes with Jehovah's Witnesses. William H. Bowen founder of silentlambs, inc. is working with key experts to provide legal strategies to assist law firms in winning child custody disputes with Jehovah's Witnesses. Associates with JW child custody have over 86 years experience as active Jehovah's Witnesses and have served in key positions throughout the organization. Their experience will be used to assist caring parents to protect their children from cult mind control.

It is estimated that over 130 Jehovah's Witness children die each year due to the religion's application of religious doctrine to health care. Children are alienated from their non-JW parents and family as well as isolated from society due to mind control use of church doctrine. "We feel this is a long overdue service for parents that wish to give their children a normal life," states William H. Bowen. "At silentlambs we protected children from sexual abuse, now we can expand that work to help kids have a happier future."

JW Child Custody will offer expanded services to assist attorneys with legal consulting for a variety of issues surrounding Jehovah's Witness legal entity "Watchtower." They will also have a "Child Custody Packet" to educate parents and attorneys in preparing for custody cases. Recent cases involve such issues as wrongful death and tax evasion. Bowen states, "Due our detailed knowledge of the inner workings of Watchtower we can enable litigants to overcome the practice of 'Theocratic Warfare,' which is perjury approved by God according to Jehovah's Witness doctrine." (see JW Child Custody Booklet)

The website http://www.jwchildcustody.com offers a toll free number to set up a free consultation as well as email correspondence for specific legal issues

The Introduction Of Phobias (Deep Rooted Fears) And Other Development Traits In The Jehovah Witness Child

by Randall Watters

Parents obviously have a very powerful influence on their children. Even when they are abusive and insensitive towards their offspring, children still desire whatever vestige of love and approval they can get from their parents, and will often be obedient just to receive attention and care. Understanding this dynamic helps to explain how children growing up in the Watch Tower may be so heavily influenced by the need for approval that they are willing togive up whatever goals or aspirations they may have in order to please their parents, even long after they leave home and/or get married.

A Phobic World View

The first step that the Watch Tower takes in their indoctrination of their followers is to develop the concept of the "universal war" that all people are inevitably caught up in, namely, that Satan has declared war on Jehovah, and we are automatically on one side or the other; there are no fence-sitters.

If you are not doing all that the organization asks, you are on the side of the devil. Everything outside of the Watch Tower is controlled by the devil, and all persons who are not Witnesses are misled by the devil and are bad or dangerous to associate with. An unbalanced fear of the supernatural is encouraged. Witness children are told to avoid "worldly" magazines, movies, TV shows, music, etc. Any information critical of the Watch Tower is automatically evil and dangerous. Most doctors are evil for wanting to administer blood transfusions. Children have nightmares about mom or dad having to refuse a blood transfusion. Everything is made to appear as part of a large conspiracy to destroy Jehovah's Witnesses. Satan is feared totally out of proportion to the role as represented in the Bible.

What is the end result? The child learns to fear life itself, at least outside of the Watch Tower, so that if he/she were to ever leave the organization, the devil would destroy him/her and he/she would become miserable and suicidal. I personally knew several members of the Watch Tower's Bethel family at their headquarters in New York who knew the organization was wrong, but could not leave due to fear that they were incapable of getting a job, or that their lives would disintegrate.

They were the victims of carefully planted PHOBIAS.

Many of these phobias are rather obvious to outsiders. Simple, harmless things are blown out of proportion in order to keep Witnesses secluded from the real world. For instance: Birthdays are evil because someone is being worshipped. Christmas is evil because thousands of years ago someone worshipped the sun on December 25th. Saluting the flag is worshipping your country and a sign that you belong to Satan's kingdom rather than God's Kingdom.

Saying "darn" or "geez" is the same as cursing.
Smoking cigarettes is a form of drug abuse that can lead to demonic control. Little wonder that Witness youths are so paranoid and shy of the world! Even when they leave the organization, the phobias are still there, controlling their lives until they are recognized and eliminated through counseling and/or self-awareness.

Many of our readers were raised Jehovah's Witnesses and still remain VICTIMS of multiple phobia implantations. Many struggle with low self-esteem and self-worth, since the Watch Tower implants and perpetuates such problems.

The same could be said of the children of the amish or orthodox Jews. What you are against is raising children in an orthodox or fundmentalist religious setting. You obviously prefer the mushy "everything is true" view adopted by the majority of Protestant and Eastern religions today.

Children

JW Child Custody's picture

The best interests of the child remain the most important issues when dealing with these matters. In certain instances remaining in the JW family may be the best solution due to the circumstances. What if the non-jw parent was a child molester, addicted to drugs, or physically abusive? At the same time we realize that the best environment for the child is what should take precedence. IF the non-jw parent can offer a healthy up bringing with normal interaction with society as opposed to isolation from society that JWs require, then best interests would be helping the non-jw parent to obtain sole custody.

When JW lawyers manipulate the courts to steal the lives of innocent children it is a crime against innocence.

Changing Face of the Watchtower

Randall Watters's picture

Witnesses were once fighters for certain good things in our laws, but the organization has evolved full circle into a bunch of hypocritical old men who remain in a severely retarded Victorian world where they hole up and say, "We are the only true religion!" and yet the soup stinks. They are declining the last two years in many parts of the earth due to THIS, the internet, the very thing they are encouraged to avoid because it makes them look so bad. Follow any of the links about Jehovah's Witnesses in the search engines and you will find the record of false prophecies, flip-flops in doctrine, phony dates, and bloodguilt over wrongful deaths, including those from following their ever-changing stance on blood transfusions. This religion is POISON folks! Keep your distance and keep your sanity.

"We just don't know what makes people snap sometimes." Sometimes we do, at least in the case of Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a distorted view of life and death, waiting every moment for Armageddon, not planning for the future, believing that Jehovah will destroy billions of people soon who do not accept the teachings of the Watchtower and its aging leadership, believing that whatever happens Jehovah will resurrect them to a perfect state, denying life-saving blood transfusions, and the list goes on. Fortunately they are in decline and will never recover due to poor management.

Who, exactly, has made this "estimate"? On what basis was it made? What are the foundations for this statistic? Why should we or a court accept the statistic as valid?

This seems more to be a statement of opposition by angry former cult members than a valid and provable statement.

Witness's refusal of transfusion costs his life

Published: Sunday, January 14, 2007
A young Jehovah's Witness's decision to refuse a blood transfusion - which eventually led to his death - has split his family along religious lines.

Jean-Claude Lavoie, 26, died in late December after refusing a transfusion while being treated for an intestinal tumour, the TQS television network reported Friday.

Lavoie's brother, who is a former Jehovah's Witness, has since launched an Internet petition calling on the federal government to make it illegal for a person to refuse treatment on religious grounds.

"The Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions for religious reasons," Jonathan Lavoie writes on the petition's website.

"This creates enormous stress for the family."
Jonathan maintains that his brother would still be alive if he had received a transfusion.

As many as 1,000 people have signed Jonathan Lavoie's petition so far.

Even Jesus would not comment on false accusations against himself. Why should he? The accusations were not worthy of comment.
Satan has only a few minutes of life left before his abyss of 1,000 years. Defense of him is likewise not even worthy of comment.
Now is the time to make your descision.

Child Abuse

Link here's picture

Jehovah's Witnesses child abuse pedophile cover-up
Pedophilia is covered up in the Jehovah's Witnesses on a scale worst than the Catholic priest scandal. Not only do they deny it but the Watchtower has instructed the Kingdom Hall elders to go after all whistle-blowers.

The JW's exploit an obscure 2,000 year old bible passage and demand that there be TWO witnesses to every act of child abuse committed by a Jehovah's Witness. This fosters a code of silence and a "pedophile's paradise" in the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jehovah Witness pedophiles go door to door as part of their faith to recruit converts!

The 'Two Witness' Take-Down is a subterfuge exploited by Jehovah's Witnesses that is selectively enforced by elders who play favorites and fast & loose with the truth,an excuse to ignore and suppress evidence at whim.

KINGDOM H.E.L.L.

Cocoon's picture

Kingdom Halls are a hellish memory for me. I grew up as a Jehovah's Witness from the age of 9 until I fought my way to freedom at age 18. I recall children as young as a year old being beaten repeatedly for not sitting still during services...some sessions, called assemblies, were 6 hours long and lasted for 3-5 days in succession.

My nephew was one of many who felt the literal sting of the Watchtower's stance of "spare the rod, spoil the child." I still remember the sick, accepting smiles on the faces of other Jehovah's Witnesses when my nephew(s) were being dragged off to the bathroom by their father Here's an excerpt from my book, OUT OF THE COCOON:

"When I was twelve years old, my nineteen-year-old sister married a Jehovah’s Witness, and one year later she delivered a beautiful baby boy. Sadly, Jon would come to know at a tender age of one the frustration I experienced sitting on that anthill during those long sermons in the Kingdom Hall. Since there wasn’t a Sunday school atmosphere at these meetings; young children weren’t allowed to amuse themselves with toys or coloring books. When Jon started fidgeting, I did everything in my power to try to keep him still...When I ran out of tricks and could no longer contain his energy, his father grabbed him by the arm and literally dragged him to the restroom to beat him. Jon’s beating became such a ritual that when his daddy reached for him during a meeting, he knew it meant a beating. He cried and pleaded “No, Daddy” as he buckled his legs, refusing to walk willingly to meet his fate. Everyone in the Kingdom Hall could hear his screams. The sound that echoed from the blow varied; sometimes Jon’s father used his hand, sometimes a belt. After ten or fifteen minutes, they would return with Jon hyperventilating, desperately trying to catch his breath. Beaten into composure, he would sit still for a while longer. Usually he stared motionless into space, his eyes bloodshot from crying. If fate smiled on him, Jon fell asleep in my arms for the duration of the meeting. If not, then back again to the restroom he would go for another beating and the cycle continued, until the closing prayer. It broke my heart. I wanted desperately to stop the abuse, but I was a child myself and didn’t know what to do to save him, or me. One heart-wrenching day in particular is forever seared into my memory. My sister confided in my mother, father, and me that Jon, then two years old, had asked his father to hit him on his hands with the belt instead of his buttocks. When asked why he wanted to be punished that way, he replied, “Because my butt is too sore.” It sickened all of us. But none of the adults—my sister, my mother nor my father—did anything about it... Within a year, my sister had another child and his fate, sadly, was no different than Jon’s. Meanwhile, my sister’s husband was rewarded for his devotion to the faith. He was made an Elder."

Lest you think that this was an isolated incident, it was not. I witnessed dozens of children being slapped, bullied, beaten and pinched for displaying age-appropriate, normal restlessness. Since my departure I've heard from thousands of adults who were abused emotionally, physically or sexually as Jehovah's Witness children. Now I provide a newsletter through my website to help survivors heal.

Is this 'religion' loving? Is it humane? Is it Christian? Would I ever become a Jehovah's Witness clone again and raise my child in this environment? Hell no!
