Computer Sciences Corporation today announced that it has been listed in the "leaders"Â quadrant of the Gartner report Magic Quadrant for Help Desk Outsourcing, Western Europe, 2007.
The report positions leading vendors of information technology (IT) help desk services based on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision.
According to Gartner, "External service providers in the leaders quadrant are performing skillfully. They have a clear vision of the market's direction and are developing competencies to maintain their leadership position. They shape the market, rather than follow it."Â
Authored by Claudio Da Rold and Gianluca Tramacere, the report covers service providers in Western Europe. To qualify, providers need to have at least €25 million in annual Western European help desk outsourcing revenue and deliver help desk services as part of IT outsourcing engagements to clients headquartered in at least six Western European countries.
"We are dedicated to providing the highest quality services to our clients and are pleased with CSC's position in this report,"Â said Tracey Laurence, CSC Global Service Desk director. "We feel this position confirms both CSC's experience and understanding of evolving technologies, as well as our ability to achieve operational results that effectively address client needs."Â
Service providers are positioned in the Magic Quadrant based on formal presentations by participating vendors, client reference checks and analyst knowledge of the market - CSC.
