Like life among the animals of Animal Crossing: Wild World, the farmer's life is peaceful, but it's more goal-oriented at the same time. It's up to you to run your farm to the best of your abilities, with all the daily tasks this job entails.

You'll be planting seeds, harvesting crops, milking cows and even raising a bunch of chickens. A good farmer knows what to do in which season, and your choices will affect the result of your produce. Only by taking good care of the animals on your farm do you get milk, eggs and wool of a quality to astound the townsfolk.

If you enjoyed keeping your Nintendogs happy, you're going to love the barn full of animals that Harvest Moon has in store for you to pet, milk, brush and shear with the Touch Screen! But even if you prefer conversation over caring, there is a definite social aspect to this farming simulation, too. The nearby town is full of characters for you to interact with - you might even run into the love of your (second) life!
