Dallas Symphony Announces Evening With Branford Marsalis

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents An Evening with Branford Marsalis in a one-night only concert. The legendary saxophonist and Grammy Award-winning artist brings his soulful sounds to the Meyerson Symphony Center on April 25, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. This will be a non-orchestral performance.

Marsalis, a performer, composer and now, as the head of his Marsalis Music label, produces for both his own projects and those of the jazz world's most promising new artists.

As one of jazz's greatest names today, Marsalis has worked with such legends as Harry Connick, Jr., Wynton Marsalis and Doug Wamble, to name a few. Marsalis also continues to explore classical music, having performed with symphonies throughout Europe and America.
