Pensacola Symphony Presents Fiesta Cultural

The Pensacola Symphony Chamber Orchestra will present the GE Music for Families¡ Fiesta Cultural! concert on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 10 a.m. at N.B. Cook Elementary School of the Arts. This event, which is part of the 2007 Latin American Festival, is a fun-filled, family activity that will spark the imagination of the whole family.

Take a musical journey through Latin America with this exciting concert. Sample the food, language and music that define the culture of these exciting neighbors to our south.

There will be hands-on learning stations that emphasize the culture of Latin America through the making of instruments, art, language, dance and animals. There will also be available the ever-popular instrument petting zoo and a performance of Latin music including Ginastera's Variaciones concertantes by the Pensacola Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

Event partners include the Northwest Florida Ballet, the Zoo of Northwest Florida, Cactus Flower Café and the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition.

The performance begins at 10 a.m. at N.B. Cook Elementary School (1310 N. 12th Avenue). Tickets are $5 per person. -- www.pensacolasymphony.com
