General Motors Honors Mann + Hummel as Corporation of the Year

On Saturday, March 31, General Motors Corporation honored Mann + Hummel with its prestigious Corporation of the Year award. The award was presented during GM's 15th annual Supplier of the Year ceremony in Orlando, Fla

Mann + Hummel has been a GM Supplier of the Year winner every year since the program began in 1992. It is an international company with about 10,000 employees at 41 locations worldwide. Mann + Hummel supplies GM with air induction systems and has demonstrated a strong alignment and working relationship with GM.

"Mann + Hummel is a great example of what it takes to become a GM Corporation of the Year," said Bo Andersson, GM group vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. "They are totally aligned with our four business priorities and committed to meeting requirements on innovation, quality, delivery and cost. We salute Mann + Hummel and all of their employees around the world for their hard work and dedication."

The GM Supplier of the Year award began in 1992. Each year, a global team of purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and logistics executives determines the winners. Decisions are based on supplier performance in the areas of quality, service, technology and price.
