What You Want, When You Want It: Only From Motorola

Motorola, Inc., a global leader in wireless communications, has become the first handset manufacturer in China to support China Mobile's s cutting-edge content service - Express News - a feature that lets consumers get the news, sports, entertainment, and other information they want directly from their mobile device home screen - anytime and anywhere.

The new experience will launch on three of Motorola's hottest models: MOTOKRZR K1, MOTORIZR Z3, and MOTOSLVR L71.

Express News is an innovation in wireless services, liberating you from the need to sift through text to find the stories that you want. Currently Express News is in the trial use stage. Using Express News, based on SCREEN3 technology, you no longer have to go out and find the information that interests you - all you need do is subscribe to China Mobile's channel and it is distributed directly to you on the home screen of your Motorola handset, ready for viewing and recall whenever you want it. As a part of the service, Express News also enlists a "smart synchronization" function, meaning that only the latest and freshest content gets delivered and displayed, bringing you the information you need and the entertainment you want in a way perfectly suited to your active lifestyle.

"We are very excited to be the first company to support Express News from China Mobile, and it shows once again that Motorola is on the cutting-edge of technology and fashion," said Motorola's Michael Tatelman, corporate vice-president, and president, Mobile Devices Business, Asia Pacific. "With Express News consumers can now get the latest news directly from their handset screens, enjoying the freedom of a brand-new mobile experience on the most stylish devices available."

Compared with traditional information channels, such as television and the Internet, the mobile phone with Express News frees you from wires and cables to deliver a newer information experience, one that provides increased flexibility and convenience. With this powerful new feature, news, weather, financial information, sports, music and entertainment...are all delivered to you faster and easier, continuously scrolling across the bottom of your handset screen. Consumers can look forward to more exciting channels and content in the future.

"China Mobile continues to make efforts to provide more content and services to its subscribers," said a spokesperson from CMCC. "Express News is a breakthrough and will make it much easier for consumers to get the latest information from their handsets. We hope to work more closely with Motorola and other handset manufacturers to provide consumers with more exciting mobile experience."

"This new service will change the way we people receive information," Tatelman continued. "Content such as news, sports, music, and games will be accessible to people through their Motorola handsets and become their primary information source in this increasingly mobile society" - Motorola.
