Nissan Brings Strong Line-UP To 2007 Auto Shanghai

NISSAN (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng NISSAN Ltd., will present an appealing NISSAN vehicle line-up at the 2007 Auto Shanghai to be held from April 22 to April 28.

More than 10 models will be displayed, ranging from a concept car, a new model, environment-friendly models to sport cars, demonstrating NISSAN's diverse product offering to the market and its leading-position in the industry. NISSAN's luxury car brand, Infiniti, will also make its debut in China at the show, to be located next to NISSAN's booth.

NISSAN's exhibit is focused on three key themes - "Technology", "Design", and "Environmental Friendliness". According to NCIC, Bevel, a unique and eye-catching concept car, that incorporates new and exciting technologies for future models will be presented. The BEVEL concept, which made its debut at the North American International Autoshow (NAIA) in January, features new breakthrough technologies and design that fully demonstrate NISSAN's outstanding achievements at the forefront of automotive design trends.

The other highlight is Dongfeng NISSAN's first model priced around RMB100,000 (US$13,000). It is a newly designed model. This small car further completes and strengthens Dongfeng NISSAN's line-up in China, to better meet the demands of Chinese customers. The new car is named Livina or "Li Wei" in Chinese.

The "Green Car" X-Trail FCV will be on display, representing the first NISSAN-developed fuel cell-stack and compact lithium-ion battery. The combination of these two components within the system delivers the same excellent power performance as a conventional gasoline engine. The X-Trail FCV has also achieved zero-emission standards to reflect Nissan's theme of "Symbiosis of People, Vehicles, and Nature".

NISSAN's booth at W304, No.3 Hall covers an area of 1,500 square meters. The vehicle line-up to be featured at the show include Nissan 350Z, Quest, Teana, Sylphy, Geniss, Tiida sedan and hatchback, Paladin, Dongfeng NISSAN's CCC (China Circuit Championship) winner for two years and Tiida hatchback racing car. NISSAN promises to bring to Chinese consumers an all new experience at the 2007 Shanghai New International Exhibition Center - Nissan.
