Nigeria: Umaru Yar' Adua, PDP and The Presidential Election

Follow us on Twitter

Many erroneous and ambiguous news reports have been written on the so called, "Mr. Integrity" Umaru Yar'Adua, the governor of Katsina state and presidential candidate of the ruling party (PDP) in Nigeria. But how many have been fooled by his sponsors?

There is more that meets the eye of the beholder of governor Umaru Yar'Adua, the presidential candidate of the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). How can you claim to be a political leader of integrity and belong to a political cabal of assassins, crooks, and rogues?
Is like a member of Al Capone's gang claiming to be innocent.

It is sheer hypocrisy to dress to impress the ignorant and gullible world while you are still engaged in cloak and dagger plots to subvert and manipulate the electoral process in Nigeria.

Governor Umaru Yar'Adua of Katsina state is not a democratic politician, but a separatist Muslim who should have been tried for subverting the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, because, to approve the Sharia Law in a secular federation is unlawful in democracy.

Innocent Christians have been mobbed and lynched by Islamists in Katsina state and governor Umaru Yar'Adua was an eye-witness during the bloody Danish Cartoon riots in Northern Nigeria, when irate Muslims attacked and murdered scores of innocent Christians in cold blood, including a priest; and Umaru Yar'Adua and his cabal never prosecuted the perpetrators of these crimes against innocent Christians. And now he wants 55 million Nigerian Christians to vote for him to become the President of Nigeria?

The Nigerian masses are already demonstrating against the ruling party for rigging the last state elections and are ready to lay down their lives to sack the PDP before the end of this year. Because, the Niger Delta militants, the Human Rights Watch, Nigerian lecturers, civil rights groups and the majority of the Nigerian voters have already denounced and rejected the fraudulent elections of last Saturday in Nigeria.
Let Umaru Yar'Adua tell the truth or face the wrath of nemesis.

President Olusegun Obasanjo was the same head of state that handed over to another Muslim, Alhaji Shehu Shagari of the notorious National Party of Nigeria (NPN) after the party rigged the presidential election in 1979. But the corrupt NPN government was sacked in a bloodless military coup. And if people do not learn lessons from the mistakes of the past, then the history of their tragedy would be repeated.

Umaru Yar'Adua and his sponsors in the PDP are partners in crime. He cannot play "Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves".

Governor Umaru Yar'Adua does not deserve to be the next President of Nigeria, but to be tried and jailed with his accomplices in Islamic terrorism and political terrorism for their violation of the Rule of Law and subversion of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

It's really sad the same

It's really sad the same Obasanjo who was hailed as being the first military head of state in Africa to voluntarily surrender power has chosen to ruin the little (or nothing) left of his name. As for Yar'Adua, what kind of an insult is it for a Nigerian president to be chosen with nothing to his name besides the fact that he was someone's brother!

The greed for power has no sacred creed

I actually thought that the so called "Mr. Integrity" Umaru Yar' Adua would be honest enough to admit the truth of the violations of the electoral process by the ruling party, PDP. But, he has remained as unrepetant as his godfather, the Al Capone of the PDP and I am afraid that they have not finished with their rape of democracy.

Nigerians should not allow their right to peace and justice be robbed by the desperate political gangsters in government.

One God, one faith.

RE: Yar Adua is not the angel he pretends to be/not qualified

Truth & Conscience's picture

Umaru Yar Adua, is not as experienced as most of the other presidential candidates.

Buhari and Marwa if we are to look objectively are the most qualified to rule. Being from their selfless service to the nation (willing to give their life up for the nation via military service) Also from the evidence of their contribution to national development of infrastructure.

In fact if not for individuals like Buhari who fought in our civil war, neither PDP, nor Umaru would even be able to campaign because nigeria would have split up.

Buhari has more political expereince than all the candidates from his being involved in politics and goverment service since the Gowon era.

Im sorry to say that if Yar Adua takes over the mantle of leadership , we will be headed for another civil war, also i predict his government will be truncated either by coup or assasination the same as Shagari. Only Buhari has the experience to keep nigeria as one under a situation of threatened ethnic breakup such as we are currently poised with (Biafra and Niger Delta and even Al qaida in the North)

I agree with a comment by one of the other contributors that "Yar Adua should not be adopted ,simply because he is a younger brother of a political giant"
because its just like PDP adopting Kola Abiola simply because of his father where as Kola has not done anything for the nation!

Even in the Bible Jesus said "every man must carry his own cross" and of the pack of presidential aspirants Buhari has carried his cross best, longest and hardest!
