San Diego, California's Chula Vista Welcomes New Borders(R) Store
Borders, Inc. will open a new 23,000-square-foot Borders store in Chula Vista, Calif. in June. The store will be in the Village Walk at Eastlake-a new town center-located at the intersection of Eastlake Parkway and Fenton Street.
The new site was selected based on a variety of factors, including accessibility, consumer demographics, the strength of the co-tenants, traffic patterns, the availability of parking, visibility and the overall attractiveness of the new site.
The opening of this new store is expected to create approximately 35 jobs in the local community.
