Undeclared Milk, Sesame Seeds, Soy and Sulphites in Various Brands of Croutons and Snack Mixes
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Sucharu International Ltd., Ottawa, Ontario are warning people with allergies to milk, sesame seeds, soy and sulphites not to consume People's Pantry, Nancy's Fancy, and Maple Leaf Nut Co. brands of Croutons and Snack Mixes described below. The affected products contain milk, sesame seeds, soy and sulphites which are not declared on the label.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk, sesame seeds, soy and sulphites.
The manufacturer, Sucharu International Ltd., Ottawa, Ontario is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall. http://www.cnn
